Lowland Gathering
The Lowland Gathering is held at Victory Park where it is opened by the chieftain. The 2012-13 chieftain is Denis Reid. There is also a pipe band competition throughout the day and there is also highland dancing, highland games, mini games for children and various stalls and rides. On the day there is also the Saughill race organised by Girvan Athletics Club.
